Trashy Magazine -- an online vintage clothing shop created by Crystal Haines.

By Angel D'Amico interview with Crystal

Starting just a few years ago, Crystal Haines cleaned out her closet one day and just started selling her clothes on Live Journal, an Internet blogging site. When everything sold she realized this was a great way to make some extra cash. While still in school, Crystal has been able to quit her day job and do Trashy Magazine full time.

Crystal started buying items to sell, she next saved some money by creating her own website, and then started listing her items on ebay. She is an extreme ebay shopper herself though, spending hours looking at auctions, to know what is in and what will sell.

One of Crystal's favorite shops is Forever 21, for their hot trends. An inspiration to her is Mary-Kate's fashion sense,

"I love her grungy-hobo-esque look. Grunge is my favorite fashion: the beat up jeans, the muted colors, the holes,I love it."

What makes Crystal unique is her creativeness and ability to find items that celebrities have been seen wearing as well as only the best vintage and trendy items. Trashy Magazine is Crystal's greatest accomplishment.

"I'm extremely proud of the fact that I was able to quit my job to do this full time and I'm making way more than I was before and I'm able to do it from home whenever I want. :)"

In the future Crystal would like to expand Trashy Magazine and open a store similar to Forever 21 one day.

"One girl's trashy is another girl's treasure!"

Vintage Shopping Online
Something old, something new; where to get the best vintage on the net

Trashymagazine.com

Now here is an awesome website, I love the items sold on this website because they are up for sale at amazing prices (so cheap you could buy as much as you want!) and this is a great place to find some vintage items that have been seen on celebrities. Mary-Kate Olsen style vintage things are common as well as items in the style of celebrities like Jessica Simpson, Kirsten Dunst and sister of Mary-Kate Olsen, Ashley Olsen. Some items are more modern than others but just as cheap. Kukui nut necklaces are currently available in their eBay store. Trashy has an online shop on their website as well as several eBay actions. They sell anything from jewelry to dresses to tops and shoes. Trashy is a great place to find some items to make your outfits look more unique, if by a necklace or top there is a little bit of everything here to spiff up your outfits. The site is run by three vintage loving girls so they definitely know their thing. You cannot go wrong with this website.
